Society of Monuments is the new songwriting and production project by classical crossover composer, Dexter Britain. From the archives of his songwriting notebooks and crafted from his decades long experience. This new project explores his ongoing passion for cinematic electronic pop music.
The name comes from the fact this project wouldn’t exist without the collaboration with singers who can take Dexter’s ideas and add the humanity to the their performance. Each song stands as a moment, a memory, a monument in time.
Whether the song was written fifteen years ago or yesterday, Dexter explores his relationship with life, music, career and aspirations. Whilst time shifts everything, nothing really changes.
